Please read instructions before beginning installation. Check the kit hardware against the Kit Contents and the product
layout picture on this page. Be sure you have all needed parts and know where they go. Also please review tools
needed list and make sure you have needed tools.
This kit was designed to move the shock body away from the frame when using an inverted shock such as the Rough
Country 2.2 series shock.

the design, function, and correct use of our products.
Kit Contents:
2) Relocation brackets
1) 1020Bag
2) 5/8” x 1.5” bolts
2) 5/8” lock nuts
4) 5/8” washers
2) 1/2” x 1.25” bolts
2) 1/2” lock nuts
4) 1/2” washers
Tools Needed:
15/16” socket/wrench
3/4” socket/wrench
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
JK FRONT SHOCK RELOCATION BRACKETS
1. Starting on the passenger side of the jeep remove the front shock.
2. Next place the shock relocation bracket on the inside of the factory shock tower, insert the 5/8” x 1.5” bolt and
washer into the rear hole of the relocation bracket though the factory shock mount hole. Place the 5/8” washer and
nut on top of the shock tower and tighten with a 15/16” socket and wrench. See Photo 1.
3. Finally place the 1/2” x 1.25” bolt and washer though the slotted hole in the relocation bracket and the factory hole in
the side of the shock tower. Insert 1/2” washer and nut on the back side of the shock tower and tighten with a 3/4”
socket and wrench. See Photo 2.
4. Reinstall the shock on the new relocation bracket and axle mount.
5. Repeat steps on the driver side of the jeep.
